The Hair Boutique salon, Newark, is finalist at UK Hair Awards and UK Hair and Beauty Awards

A hair salon that specialises in colouring is a finalist for two leading UK hairdressing awards.

The Hair Boutique salon entered UK Hair Awards and UK Hair and Beauty Awards for the first time in more than ten years of business.

The salon, which has grown from a team of two to a team of six has been shortlisted as finalist for Colour Salon of the Year 2023 and Best Colour Salon 2023 respectively.

“Putting Newark on the map for specialising in hair colouring is something that excites us as a salon team,” said salon owner Nicola Fountain.

“To be finalists in not one, but two national awards is so amazing. It shows that all of the hard work and continuous training definitely doesn’t go unnoticed and we’re so proud to be selected as finalists.”

For the competition they were asked to send specific hair colouring photos that the team has created and write details about the team and the salon’s history in colouring since it opened doors in 2012.

The Hair Boutique team will attend the red carpet live final at Birmingham in April and the Hair and Beauty live virtual grand final online in June.
