COURT LISTINGS: Newark thief, 42, in possession of cocaine and Stanley knife steals two bottles of rum from B&M Stores in Mansfield

A THIEF who was carrying a Stanley knife and in possession of cocaine was given a suspended prison sentence at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court.
Tara Robinson, 42, of Cardinal Hinsley Close, Newark, stole two bottles of rum from B&M Stores in Mansfield.
She was caught and found to be in possession of cocaine and the knife.
Robinson, who admitted all three offences, was jailed for a total of 12 weeks, suspended for 15 months.
She must get help for a drug dependency and take part in rehabilitation during the time of the sentence.
She also admitted stealing Gilette razors worth £42 from Boots in Mansfield.
Robinson was barred from entering B&M and Boots in Mansfield and must pay Boots £42 compensation.
A MAN who stole cosmetics from a Boots store was sentenced to eight weeks in custody, suspended for nine months, by Nottingham magistrates.
Jonathan Blundell, 31, of High Street, Edwinstowe, took items worth £101.
He had tried, and failed, to steal cosmetics from the same store two days earlier. For that offence, he received a consecutive sentence of six weeks, also suspended.
Blundell must get help for a drug dependency and was banned from the Boots store, to whom he must pay £101 compensation.
Both offences were admitted.
