Hundreds of people are enjoying the entertainment down at the Riverside Park in Newark at the Newark Festival free Family Fun Day where the entertainment, in glorious sunshine, includes Postman Pat and Friends.

The Performing Arts students from Newark College took centre stage earlier.

It is the turn of the Proms in the Park from 6pm.

Town and district councillor Tony Roberts said it was the busiest family fun day yet of Newark Festival, which is in its third year.
