Cyclist dies following collision on A617

A cyclist has died following a collision near Upton on Tuesday night.

Police were called at around 9.50pm last night (15 May) to a collision between a silver BMW and a bicycle in Newark.

The crash happened on the A617 at the junction of Upton and Southwell.

A 52-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
