Youngsters at a nursery are getting a head start on government requirements to promote oral hygiene.
From September, the Department of Education is requiring settings such as nurseries to promote children’s oral hygiene.
Cherubs Edwinstowe children already use bamboo toothbrushes to practise good dental hygiene every day and, because the bamboo toothbrushes are fully biodegradable, they are better for the environment too.
Cherubs Edwinstowe manager Sarah Hickling said: “We have also been learning about healthy food choices and how to grow our own foods, along with yoga sessions outside, promoting good physical health and mental.”
