Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue crews from Newark and Grantham at scene of collision on A1 between Balderton and Long Bennington




Two fire services are in attendance at a collision on the A1.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to an RTC on the A1, between South Balderton and Long Bennington, at 4.33pm today (September 14).

The service has two fire engines in attendance, including the rescue unit, from Newark fire station.

A Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service crew, from Grantham, are also in attendance.

The service confirmed it was a multi-agency response.

It is not yet known if anyone has been injured in the collision.

There are currently delays on the A1 southbound near Fernwood.

The average speed is 10mph.
