Thousands of people are once again expected to attend Advertiser Ladies Day at Southwell Racecourse this year.

As one of the biggest social events on the district’s calendar, tickets are much sought after.

But the Advertiser has teamed up with Southwell Racecourse to offer one lucky reader the chance to win two free tickets.

This year’s Advertiser Ladies Day takes place on Sunday, August 14 and will once again blend all the excitement of racing action with fun and glamour.

Although there is no formal dress code, race-goers are encouraged to dress to impress.

Once again, there will be the Ladies Day Style Awards, offering a £500 cash prize for the best dressed who catches the eye of the judges.

And the fun doesn’t stop with the racing.

This year, Martin Kemp will lead the post-race party.

The musician and actor will deliver a ‘pick n mix’ Eighties classics DJ set so race-goers can dance the night away.

Various ticket packages are available, including standard admission, but organisers are expecting a sell-out.
