Newark and Collingham fire crews make lorry safe after overturning on Winthorpe island




Fire crews managed to make a lorry safe after it overturned on an island.

One adult casualty self released before emergency services, including crews from Newark and Collingham, were called to the incident on the Winthorpe island in Newark today.

It caused queueing traffic on the A46 and A17, with Lincoln Road and Brunel Drive traffic also affected.

The incident has been left with East Midlands Highways.
