GCSE results 2022: Radcliffe's South Nottinghamshire Academy couldn't be prouder




After an incredibly tough two years, South Nottinghamshire Academy said it was pleased to celebrate the amazing achievements of its year 11 students.

Headteacher at the Radcliffe school, Dan Philpotts said: "Congratulations to all of our year 11 students - these results are a testimony to the hard work and effort shown by our students in unprecedented times.

"We are beyond proud of each of them and we look forward to welcoming the majority back in September to continue their studies in the sixth form.

Many individual year 11 students secured outstanding results including:

Charlotte Ward.
Charlotte Ward.
  • Charlotte Ward who secured seven grade nines in maths, biology, chemistry, physics, computer science, geography and RE. She also gained a grade eight in English Literature and grade sevens in German and English language.
Luke Fitch.
Luke Fitch.
  • Luke Fitch achieved a grade nine in art and four grade eights in English language and literature, maths and double science. He also achieved three grade sevens in geography, double science and RE and a grade six in Spanish.
  • James Kench secured a grade nine in geography and four grade eights in biology, computer science, physics and RE. He also gained three grade sevens in chemistry, English literature and maths and a grade six in English language.

  • Martha Norton gained seven grade nines in English literature, biology, chemistry, art, geography and RE and two grade eights in maths and physics.
Daniel Robinson.

  • Daniel Robinson gained a grade nine in computer science, and five grade eights in maths, biology, chemistry, physics and geography. He also secured a grade seven in design technology and a grade six in English.
Aaliyah Connolly.

  • Aaliyah Connolly achieved four grade nines in English language, English literature, history and RE. She also achieved six grade sevens in maths, biology, chemistry, physics, geography and Spanish.
  • Lucy Barker secured five grade nines in English literature, geography, art, double science and RE. She also achieved three grade eights in English language, maths and double science and a grade seven in German.
  • Libby White gained three grade nines in maths, biology and art and five grade eights in English literature, geography, chemistry, physics and RE. She also achieved a grade seven in German and a grade six in English language.

Mr Philpotts said: "Congratulations again on your achievements this week. You are all exceptional, inspiring and talented young people, and we couldn’t be prouder of you."
