A quarter of all grades were in the highest nine to seven scores, with students in the year group being awarded a total of 98 top grade nines.

This fantastic set of results will enable many students to pursue A-levels at Tuxford’s post 16 centre or to follow their chosen pathways into training, apprenticeships and further education.

One of this year’s top performers is Ruby Simpson who received six grade 9s, with high grades in all her other subjects.

Ruby said: “I am absolutely delighted with my results.”

She will join Tuxford’s post-16 centre in September.
