GCSEs 2024: The Minster School, Southwell, celebrating ‘exceptional’ results
A school is ‘proud’ to announce another year of exceptional GCSE results.
This year, an impressive 80% of students at The Minster School, Southwell, achieved a grade 4 or above in both English and maths, reflecting the hard work and dedication of the students and staff.
Head, Ben Chaloner expressed his congratulations to all students on their remarkable achievements.
“I am incredibly proud of our students for their outstanding performance in this year’s GCSE exams. Their dedication and resilience have truly paid off,” said Mr Chaloner.
“I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to the parents and carers for their unwavering support throughout this journey. Your encouragement has been invaluable.”
He also wished students the best of luck in their future endeavours, and added: “As our students move forward, I wish them every success in their future studies and careers. I am confident that they will continue to excel and make us proud.”
Looking ahead, the school team is excited to welcome many of the students back to the sixth form in September.
They said: “We look forward to seeing many of our students return to The Minster School Sixth Form, where they will continue to thrive and achieve their full potential.”
