Kelham Hall set to open with range of new services




The Grade I-listed landmark Kelham Hall it set to open in the new year with a range of new services, including flexible office space.

The new team at the venue, now known as The Renaissance at Kelham Hall, will be letting out 35 offices — covering 15,000sq ft of the building — with spaces to suit from two people to 275, across four floors in the Thompson wing of the former monastery.

The serviced and self-contained offices will come fully equipped with features such as manned reception, unlimited use of the gymnasium and meeting rooms, WiFi, direct dial telephone use, and a host of other perks.

Rachel Bill, business development manager at Kelham Hall, said: “We’re delighted to be adding another string to our bow, by offering a range of office spaces in the new year.

“We believe the grounds have multi-functional potential and that’s why we’ve taken the opportunity to include these packages as an option for local businesses.

“Unlike traditional leased offices, which tend to require long-term contracts, our spaces will have flexible terms and we have something to suit businesses of all sizes ­— with the added benefit of working within a fantastic, historical site.”

The Gothic-style mansion has been the backdrop for luxury weddings, meetings and special occasions.

It closed earlier this year when the company that owned it went into liquidation, before being taken on by the new company.

Its grounds stretch across 42 acres, including orchards, formal gardens and tree-lined parkland.

Rachel added: “We have an opportunity to usher in a new era at The Renaissance at Kelham Hall and invite local businesses to make use of the space and enjoy all that the building has to offer. We can’t wait to return it to its former glory and look forward to welcoming everyone in the new year.”

Virtual office packages are available, helping business to grow without the added expense of owning their own premises.

The package allows people to work from home with a professional office address and personal phone answering service.
