Hospital directors to meet in Newark

A public meeting of Sherwood Forest Hospitals Trust’s board of directors is taking place in Newark tomorrow (Thursday).

The board will discuss the quality and safety of services, the trust’s finances and plans for the future, at the Holy Trinity Community and Partnership Centre, Boundary Road, from 9am to 5pm.

There will be an update on the improvement plan being worked on with independent regulator Monitor.

The trust chairman, Mr Sean Lyons, said: “We are aiming to continue to build good relationships with Newark and Sherwood residents. We will be holding several meetings in Newark.”
