Inquiry after sudden death

An investigation was launched following the death of an 85-year-old man.

Nottinghamshire Police said: “Officers were called to a report of a sudden death of a man in Belvoir Place, Balderton, on Saturday, November 25.

“The fire service also attended and assisted us in investigating the cause of a fire in a garden shed. We are not treating the death as suspicious.”

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The service worked alongside Nottinghamshire Police to carry out an investigation into the incident and our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who sadly died.”
