Last chance for entries to be submitted to the Newark Business Awards 2020
Today is the final day for entries to be submitted to this year’s Newark Business Awards.
If you haven’t yet submitted your application — now is the time to do it.
The process is incredibly easy. Simply go to the website www.newarkbusinessawards
You can nominate yourself, or be nominated by others, in the ten categories detailed below.
Initially, you will be asked to give some basic details on the website. You will then be sent an electronic entry pack to fill in and send it back. Then the tough task of judging will begin.
Independent judges from the sponsors and other relevant organisations will look over the nominations and, using the information provided, select four finalists in each category.
These will be announced in the Advertiser on Thursday, April 9.
The judges will then visit each finalist and carry out interviews to select a winner and highly-commended runners-up in each category.
The awards, run by the Advertiser in conjunction with its parent company, Iliffe Media, is the perfect way to showcase your business, and highlight its success.
The awards will culminate in a glittering black-tie ceremony at the Lady Eastwood Centre, Newark Showground, on Friday, June 19.
The event, which includes a three-course meal, is expected to be attended by around 400 people. It will be compered once again by Melvyn Prior, of BBC Radio Lincolnshire.
It is an ideal opportunity to network with other businesses while celebrating the best in business that the district has to offer.
Winners will receive a trophy created by students at Newark College using wood from a tree that blew over in the college grounds.
Go to www.newarkbusinessawards and make sure your organisation is in with a chance of picking up one of those trophies.
