Sherwood Forest offers host of half-term activities
Sherwood Forest offers a host of half-term activities.
On Tuesday, storyteller and songwriter Brian Acton will perform his magical tale for children, A New Leaf.
Join Brian on a musical tour of the Forest at 11am or 2pm. The event is suitable for children aged five and above, and costs £5 for a child and adult together (children must be accompanied by an adult), and £3 for each additional adult (£4 and £2.40 for RSPB members). Booking is required.
There’ll be more storytelling over the bank holiday weekend with a series of walks telling the legends of Sherwood’s very own Robin Hood. The Tales from the Greenwood covers the very origins of Robin’s story, his cunning deeds and acts of bravery, while taking you into the heart of his forest.
There’s also archery sessions in the forest, running each day from June 2-5. No need to book.
