Michelle Baker, of Crafty Betty, is raising money for NHS Charities Together with rainbow face coverings
The owner of a crafty business in Newark has launched her own campaign in support of the NHS.
Michelle Baker, of Crafty Betty, is raising money for NHS Charities Together by making and selling rainbow-themed face coverings.
She has pledged to donate 25% of the profits made from selling the masks directly to the charity.
“I am sure you will agree this is a very worthwhile cause and given the current pandemic very apt,” said Michelle.
“In future months I also plan to sell masks for the Alzheimer’s Society, Macmillan Cancer Support and Beaumond House.”
Crafty Betty, on London Road carpark, Newark, has had to close because of the pandemic.
However, Michelle has recorded online classes so that people could continue to learn from the comfort of their own home.
She also offers a live question-and-answer session if people have any questions to support their class.
Michelle has also opened an online shop, which can be found here.
