Newark man admits breaking into Wiseguys and Giles & Bella stores in appearance at Nottingham Crown Court




A Newark man has pleaded guilty to two town centre shop break-ins.

Michael Richens, 40, of no fixed address, admitted to the burglary of cash and clothing from Wiseguys, Newark, at Nottingham Crown Court today.

He also pleaded guilty to trespassing with intent to steal at Giles & Bella also in Newark.

He will be sentenced along with two co-accused on February 22 once a pre-sentencing report has been prepared.

Richens remains remanded in custody.
