Man charged with assault offences after an incident in Newark

Jordan Marshall, 30, of no fixed abode, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm.

It follows an incident at a bar in Castlegate in Newark which took place in the early hours of April 7.

The victim was left with a fractured eye socket and required surgery.

Marshall is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on July 31.
