Man dies following A1 collision

A man has died following a collision between two lorries in the southbound carriageway near Markham Moor this morning.

Fire, air and road ambulance attended and Highways England assisted officers with diversions.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other men were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Investigation, recovery and clear-up works continue on the southbound carriageway which remains closed.between the A6075 near Tuxford and B1164..
