Man dies at Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre following collision with wall over Car Dyke on Main Street, Upton
A man has died following a single-vehicle collision in Upton earlier this month, police say.
Nottinghamshire Police have said that a 78-year-old man has died following a collision on Main Street, Upton on February 13.
Officers were called to reports, just after 4pm, that a silver Volkswagen Golf estate had collided with a wall over Car Dyke on Main Street.
The man was taken to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre for treatment for his injuries following the collision.
He later died in hospital on Wednesday (February 20).
Officers from Nottinghamshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are making enquiries and are continuing to offer support to the man’s family following the incident.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or believes they may have dashcam footage of the incident is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 595 of February 13, 2019.
