Newark Police make arrest after foot chase in graveyard

Newark Police were involved in a foot chase during a recent arrest.

On Monday (April 8) a male who was hiding in a graveyard was arrested after committing numerous offences. He had also failed to appear in court.

Newark Police made light of the situation on social media.

They said: "Lovely weather for a good old fashion foot chase.

"Thanks to the members of the public that helped us locate the male hiding in a graveyard."
