Missing nine-year-old boy from Newark area found safe and well and returned home

A nine-year-old boy who was reported missing from the Newark area has been found safe and well.

The boy had been missing from home since 7.30am this morning (Tuesday).

Nottinghamshire Police thanked the public for their assistance in locating the boy, who has now been returned home.
