More snow warnings issued for Friday and the weekend
Snow may affect the Advertiser area on Friday and throughout the weekend.
The Met Office has issued three separate yellow weather warnings, with a possible return to the recent wintry conditions.
The first warning comes into effect on Friday at 3pm, and lasts until just before midnight.
A band of rain will turn to snow, with ice forming in places where skies clear.
Saturday's weather warning runs from 12.05am to 11.55pm.
The warning said: "A band of rain will turn more widely to snow early Saturday morning followed by scattered snow showers through the remainder of the day.
"These showers may become more prolonged, particularly during the evening.
"Any melting of lying snow will lead to an ice risk on untreated surfaces on Saturday morning and night.
"Travel delays on roads with some stranded vehicles and passengers, along with delayed or cancelled rail and air travel, is possible.
"Some rural communities could become cut off and power cuts may occur.
"(There may be) some injuries from slips and falls are possible on icy surfaces."
Snow showers are likely to continue on Sunday, with the weather warning again running from 12.05am to 11.55pm.
There may be power cuts and while some services, including mobile phones, may be affected.
