SureCare opens a branch in Newark
A former electrical engineer and an immigration consultant has opened a new home care provider service.
Douglas Esson has opened the Newark branch of SureCare to bring high-quality person-centred care and support services to the area.
He is joined in the business by his partner Ayanda, who has experience in the care industry, and they will be looking for a Registered Manager for the business.
Once registered by the Care Quality Commission, SureCare Newark will be able to offer domiciliary care, live-in care, respite and holiday care, and dementia and Alzheimer’s care.
Douglas, who lives in Nottingham and is also studying for a law degree at the University of Derby, said: “I’m really excited to be opening a SureCare franchise in Newark. Ayanda and I want to deliver care to our clients that really makes a difference to their lives. Our ambition is to be one of the best home care providers in our area.
“We have a passion for providing care that helps older people to remain living in their own homes as long as possible.
“We researched a number of care companies before we made the decision to take a SureCare franchise.
“What stood out for us is that they are a family business that has been delivering excellent care for more than 30 years.
“As well as being an electrical engineer, I have also been a support worker in London and I’m chairman and trustee for the Kakraba Foundation Trust, a charity that provides education and support services in Nottingham.
“I also care for my mum, who is a vulnerable person, and she is very proud of what we’re doing to help other elderly people who need home care support.”
People interested in the service or for further information can contact 01244 321 199 or email enquiries@surecare.co.uk.
Gary Farrer, managing director of SureCare, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Douglas onboard as our franchise for the Newark area.
“We were impressed with his passion to provide a great service to our SureCare customers in Newark.”
