New solicitor at Tallents Solicitors, Newark, brings plenty of experience
Tallents Solicitors has welcomed solicitor and notary public Emma Sykes to its private client team.
Emma will be working alongside solicitors Sarah Allen, Elizabeth Rees, Clare Newton and probate executive Jane Schofield.
Emma has extensive experience in helping clients prepare their wills and Powers of Attorney. She can offer specialist legal advice to clients to help facilitate their wishes regarding passing on assets and property.
Emma is also an affiliate member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) the global association for practitioners who specialise in family inheritance and succession planning; and she is an Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Friend enabling her to offer independent and confidential advice which is in the best interests of older or vulnerable clients.
She is a notary public and holds an internationally-recognised public office allowing her to prepare, attest, authenticate, verify and certify deeds anywhere in the world.
Sarah Allen, head of the wills, Trusts’ Probate department, said: “The private client legal expertise and notary public experience that Emma brings perfectly complements the existing private client legal experience that we already have within the firm’s three offices.
"Our highly capable legal team is able to support our clients by providing pragmatic and robust legal advice on a wide range of private client issues.”
Emma said: “I’m delighted to be joining the private client team at Tallents Solicitors and look forward to meeting as many existing and new clients as possible over the coming weeks and months.
"I am looking forward to building on the already excellent reputation of the firm.”
