Newark-based Buttercross Estates thrives in coronavirus lockdown thanks to virtual viewings
Letting agent Buttercross Estates has seen the business thrive in lockdown, thanks to the use of virtual viewings.
The Newark-based company has added 20 properties to its portfolio in three months and is now celebrating its 200th managed property, along with their third consecutive British Property Awards Gold Award.
Virtual viewings, which are available on the majority of properties managed by Buttercross Estates, allows prospective clients to see all the property safely during the covid pandemic.
Daniel Otton, managing director, said: “It may sound simple but just by being contactable and adapting to the situation we find ourselves in, we have been able to help more people to find new homes.
“In addition to the virtual tours, we have also offered individual video viewings at properties, so property hunters can experience the prospective home as if they were walking through the doors themselves. The housing market is still open and people can carry out physical viewings but we’ve found our virtual viewings mean people aren’t coming to houses unnecessarily.”
Buttercross Estates are sponsors of the Newark Sleep Out, which will take place virtually on 12th March 2021.
The Newark Sleep Out is a charity event, raising important funds for local charities; the Winter Night Shelter, Newark Women’s Refuge, Newark Emmaus Trust, and mental health and wellbeing charity Shawmind.
