Juniper Education takes over PrimarySite, on Appletongate, Newark

A Newark education service provider is in new hands.

Juniper Education, a comprehensive education support service established to help schools and academies, has bought PrimarySite — based in the old Advertiser building on Appletongate.

It provides nearly 5,000 primary schools, academies and trusts with educational websites.

Combining PrimarySite’s communication tools with Juniper’s pupil assessment software, curriculum planning framework, and innovations claims to offer a comprehensive suite of software to deliver effective education.

Juniper chairman Gavin Freed said: “Over the last year, schools have had to rethink the ways they keep parents and pupils engaged and supported.

“Joining forces with PrimarySite gives us an unrivalled opportunity to build on this need.”

Geoff Millington, PrimarySite founder, said he was proud of what had been achieved over two decades, but knew it was time to find a partner who could continue with PrimarySite’s growth journey and Juniper shared its values and strategic vision.
