Newark firefighters called to plane crash by air traffic control

Newark firefighters rushed to a plane crash at the weekend.
The pilot and passenger had already managed to get out safely on arrival.
Crews were called to Red Flats Lane, Clarborough, at 3.39pm on Sunday by air traffic control.
There was no fire and the crews' involvement was over by 5.29pm.
Firefighters reported a small fuel spillage on to crops to the Food Standards Agency.
