Fire breaks out on Maltkiln Lane in Newark

Firefighters have dealt with a fire in Newark.

Crews from Newark and Tuxford were at the scene of a fire on Maltkiln Lane.

The fire involved 40 tonnes of rubbish and tyres.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service have advised local residents to keep windows and doors closed whilst they deal with this incident.

The cause is not yet known.
