Nursery children had an exciting visit from the police.
Rachel Yarnell, pre-school leader at Balderton Village Day Nursery, said the children were fascinated by the officers’ visit.
“They were able to sit in the driver’s seat and use the siren,” Rachel said.
“We all took turns to stand in the cell at the back of the vehicle as well as trying on the police hats and jackets to see if they fit.
“We love to organise these visits for the children every year.
“This year we have found it difficult but we were very lucky to get a visit from the police.
“All of the children were able to listen to the officers in the safety of their bubbles.
“We had great fun.”
