Owner appeals for help to find dog
A dog owner is appealing for people to lookout for her missing pet, Coco.
The nine-year-old border collie, springer spaniel cross has been missing since April 10, with no confirmed sightings despite a large social media appeal.
Owner Nikki Scarborough, 52, of Thoresby Avenue, Newark, said her dog was last seen near Parkland Close, Coddington, when she flipped her collar and ran into nearby woods.
“She has never run off like this before. This is so out of character,” Nikki said.
“I am really grateful that a lot of people have been trying to help online and putting posters up in Coddington.
“People are still helping us search but it is strange there have been no sightings.”
Anyone with information about Coco should contact Nikki on 07493 500695, or call a district council dog warden on 01636 650000.
