The Ye Olde Wytches Market event to be at the Tudor Hall at the National Civil War Museum, Newark
An event introducing a new world from faerie art and dolls, candles and jewellery to divination readers is coming to Newark this weekend.
The Ye Olde Wytches Market will be taking place at the Tudor Hall at the National Civil War Museum, Newark this Saturday (August 10).
Promoting Pagan artisans with 90% handmade crafts, the market wants to provide the community not only with artists’ work but also bring knowledge.
At the event, there will be 23 traders, with products varying from fae art & fae dolls, witches brooms, hand-painted pottery, candles, spellcraft supplies, natural incense, hand-carved jewellery, crystals, hand-sown homewares and handbags.
There will also be second-hand pagan books, tarot and oracle decks.
For the most curious or brave ones, there will be four readers doing divination.
Author and paranormal investigator Kate Gray will be selling her books and answering questions.
The bar and cafe will be open and there will be disability access to all areas of the event, which includes Tudor Hall, two other rooms and the courtyard.
The entrance price is £2 on the door and it includes discounted entry to the civil war museum.
