Firecrews rescue a person trapped after van collides with railway bridge in Edwinstowe

Firecrews freed a person who was trapped in a van that crashed into a railway bridge this morning (Sunday).

Crews from Edwinstowe and Warsop stations performed the rescue at Mill Lane, Edwinstowe, after being summoned at 7.51am.

They used hydraulic gear to rescue the person, who was then handed into the care of EMAS.
