Police search River Trent area following disappearance of Newark man Ian Cree

Police have searched in the area of the River Trent, in connection with the disappearance of Newark man Ian Cree.

A Tactical Support van, and two Operational Support vans, were seen at the riverside towards the back of The Navigation pub.

Inquiries are continuing.

Mr Cree was reported missing at around 4pm on Sunday.

He is described as white, of medium build, and around 5ft 7ins tall. He has short dark hair and was last seen wearing dark jeans, navy blue sweatshirt and walking boots.
