A plan to knock down a pub and build three homes in its place is set to be amended by the developer.

MHP Holdings, of Boughton Industrial Estate, had applied to demolish the Carpenter’s Arms on Main Road, Boughton, and build three detached bungalows on the site.

The application was due to be decided by Newark and Sherwood District Council’s planning committee yesterday.

However, it was deferred when members visited earlier that day and discovered there was a discrepancy between the plans marked out at the site and the plans submitted.
