Pub worker's purse is stolen

A Southwell pub employee's purse was taken on Friday morning.

It was taken from her handbag which had been left in the bar area at the Hearty Goodfellow, on Church Street, while she was carrying out jobs around the pub.

The rear door, which she said was closed at the time, was found to be wide open. There was not much money in the purse.

Police appealed for anyone with information to call 101, as there have been a few reports of suspicious males in the Southwell area during the last few weeks.
