Pupils take their lessons outdoors

A new outdoor classroom that can seat 32 children has been installed at Lowe’s Wong Junior School, Southwell.

The head, Mr Mike Follen, said it would be a great place for children to be able to go outside and learn drama, story-telling and maths.

“We wanted to replace an old climbing frame and, with the support of fundraising from the school community and a very kind donation from a grandparent, we have been able to provide this great resource,” he said.
