Protection of the ironwork elements of Trent Bridge over the River Trent submitted to Newark and Sherwood District Council ­— full list of planning applications




The proposed refurbishment and protection of the ironwork elements of Trent Bridge over the River Trent at Newark is among planning applications submitted to Newark and Sherwood District Council.

The proposal for the bridge, which forms part of Great North Road, has been submitted by Mr Ian Hamilton, on behalf of Via East Midlands Highways Design and Structures Bilsthorpe Highways.

It, like the applications set out here, will be determined by the district council in due course

Boughton: Summerhouse, at 11 Newark Road, Ollerton, by Mr Richard Johnson.

Carlton-on-Trent: Insert window to east elevation, replace two dormer windows with conservation

style rooflights and replace door on west elevation along with internal alterations (some works are a revision of those approved under 18/01248/LBC), at The Dovecote Great North Road, by Miss Abigail Saunders.

Carlton-on-Trent: New store, office and showroom, at The Dovecote Great North Road,k by Mr Dean Fairhurst.

Carlton-on-Trent: Demolition of an attached lean-to larder, construction of a single-storey side extension, re-roofing of an existing rear attached building, at Greystones Main Street, by Christine Fitzpatrick.

Coddington: Detached garage, Barn Three, 3 Old Manor Court, by Mr Houghton.

Coddington: Deatched garage ­— part retrospective, revised application, at Post Office Row, Main Street, by Mr James Tollafield.

Collingham: Remove beech hedge and replace with fence, at 7 Blackbourn Close, by Mr Steven Popplewell and Mrs Lindsay Popplewell.

Edwinstowe: Demolition of an existing attached single-storey conservatory and detached single-storey garage to be replaced with two-storey attached extension and larger detached single-storey garage, at 15 St Mary’s Drive, by Mr James Thomason.

Farndon: Single-storey rear extension, at 20 School Lane, by Mr Kevin Mason.

Kilvington: Removal of condition 21 attached to planning permission 14/02023/FULM, which relates to the restriction of a person/s from staying on site for more than six weeks per year, at Kilvington, by Mr Freddie Reid.

Little Carlton and South Muskham: Vary condition two attached to planning permission 18/02363/FUL to amend the approved plan for four additional dormer windows in the roof to create additional floorspace within the roof void, at Sunningdale, Bathley Lane, Little Carlton, by Mr and Mrs John Cooke.

Newark: One bedroomed bungalow, at land adjacent 8 Harrison’s Way, by Mr Paul Harrison and Mr Mick Simpson.

Newark: Car port, at 3 Eastern Court, by Mr Stephen Godber.

North Muskham: Side extension, at 10 Crab Lane, by Miss Green.

Ollerton: Ground-floor rear extension, at 4 Oak Avenue, by Mr Paul Hammond.

Oxton: Demolish and rebuild existing dwelling (minor modifications to previously approved scheme (19/00229/FUL) at The Lodge Oxton Hill, by Mr Majid Ali-Khani.

Thurgarton: Detached oak-framed garage, at Bankwood Lodge, Oxton Road, Southwell, by Mr Tom Hall.

Weston: Agricultural storage building (retrospective) at Crossways, Great North Road, by Mr Peter Fendley.
