A rock band will play in Southwell Minster on Saturday at a communion for young people.
The Rock Mass, which starts at 7pm, is a celebration of Holy Communion in a stadium rock atmosphere and has been organised by the Southwell Minster School Chaplain, Father Matthew Askey.
The lead guitarist with the band, Metanoia, is also a vicar in Wakefield.
There will be a collection at the service for the Bishop’s Fund for the homeless, and to support people with disabilities in the Middle East.
