iacf Runway Monday successfully returned to Newark Showground today




THE one-day antiques fair, Runway Monday, touched down at Newark Showground today.

Enthusiasts and avid collectors enjoyed a day of antiques, collectables and treasure hunting.

There were hundreds of stalls and visitor numbers to match.

Strict covid safety measures were in place and there was a respectful air to social-distancing.

Further iacf Runway Mondays - so named because they are held on what was the RAF Winthorpe runway - will be held on June 28, September 27, October 25 and November 22.

Also making a return is the Normous Newark Autojumble, which is back at Newark Showground on Sunday, June 6, from 8am.

The event features hundreds of indoor and outdoor trade plots selling an array of parts for car and motorcycle enthusiasts.

All visitors must adhere to the government’s social distancing guidelines, keeping two metres apart where possible.

Indoor areas will be restricted to a set number of visitors at any one time.
