Emergency services on the A1 following a three-vehicle crash

The A1 has re-opened near Newark following a crash earlier today.

The southbound carriageway of the A1 near Muskham was closed following the collision, between Bathley and Winthorpe.

A man remains in the Queen's Medical Centre with serioius injuries following the crash involving three vehicles at around 8.55am today

A 42-year-old man was rescued by Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue.

If anyone has any dash-cam footage or was travelling in the area at the time, contact the police on 101, quoting incident number 166 of 10 May 2018.
