Site manager John Brebner, 55, seals the deal for Fernwood development

A site manager has won a top national award for the quality of homes being built at the housing development he oversees in Fernwood.

The National House Building Council has recognised John Brebner, 55, for his site management capabilities with a Seal of Excellence award, marking him as among the best in the UK.

He said: “I feel immense pride and satisfaction as my site and management skills are being judged not only on the two separate marking visits, but regularly by the National House Building Council building inspectors when they carry out their five-stage inspections.

“Winning a Seal of Excellence award demonstrates that my site team are delivering a quality product which David Wilson Homes customers expect.

“I would like to thank Bill Moore, Owen McIlroy, Jason Lowe and the trades and contractors who, without the quality and great work ethic they bring to site every morning, this award would not have been achieved.”
