Bingham Summer On The Square returns this August, starting tomorrow (Saturday)

Safe outdoor entertainment returns to Bingham Market Place over August.

Bingham Summer On The Square will be spread over two Saturday dates — August 7 and 21 — and Sunday, August 22.

Tables are free and allocated on a first-come, first-served, basis.

There will be a bar and food throughout each of the events.

The 7th (tomorrow) is live music night, from 5pm to 10pm. Music comes from Lisa Hendrix, The Boogie Collective, Tiegan Donovan and Jim Cooper. More acts will be confirmed in due course.

The 21st is a ceilidh. Running from 5pm to 10pm, the entertainment is provided by Shuggles Ceilidh with participation and Scottish dancing demonstrations.

The 22nd is a classic car show. from 10am to 4pm, with cars from Belvoir Classics.

Entertainment is provided by The Moonshiners, Frank Powers and Sal & Pops.

There is also the opportunity to explore the Bingham high street on that day.

The events are being organised by Bingham Community Events in partnership with Bingham Town Council and Rushcliffe Borough Council.

One of the organisers, Elizabeth Hutchison, of Bingham Community Events, said she hoped Summer On The Square would provide something for everyone in a safe, secure and fun environment.
