New Newark town tours include translation by British Sign Language interpreter

Crammed full of intriguing stories and sites of Anglo Saxon, Medieval, Georgian and Victorian Newark, Newark Through Time town tours run every two weeks from the National Civil War Centre, with prices starting from just £5.

The tour on Saturday, July 16, will see a British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreter in attendance so that deaf or hard of hearing participants can enjoy discovering the town's fascinating history. A second signed tour will also be available on Saturday 17 September.

For more information about the tours, including the ‘Besieged (but never beaten)’ tour which takes place on alternate weekends, or to book your place, visit www.nationalcivilwarcentre.com/seedo/events/hidden-history-walking-tours.php
