Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance sets 100km September challenge as part of fundraiser
People are being asked to run, cycle or walk for 100km during September for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
Participants can take on the total distance on their own or share it between a group of friends or family.
Fundraising manager, Karen Carter said: “Our crew has continued to respond to emergencies throughout the pandemic, taking the equivalent of a mini A&E to a patient at the scene when time is critical.
"This life-saving work is only made possible because of our supporters.
“This challenge is one that we hope brings people a bit closer to understanding how our service works while raising the vital funds we need in order to come through the pandemic and deliver the best service we can for the communities of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.”
