D G Joinery, Newark, welcomes third generation of Bentley family to the team
A third generation has come on board at a family-run joinery business.
D G Joinery and General Building was established in 1989 by David Bentley, and his grandson Oliver Bentley has now joined the firm’s customer services team.
He will be a first point of contact for sales and marketing — meeting customers, and putting quotes together for D G Joinery’s range of services alongside his father Paul Bentley, David’s son.
Oliver’s mum Fiona Bentley said: “Paul needed someone to help him as he’s been very busy, and Oliver said it was something he’d like to do.
“David has stepped back a bit, and has been talking about retirement, so Oliver is stepping in .
“He loves meeting new customers, taking in what people need and what they would like.”
Oliver will be based in an office at the firm’s unit in Farndon.
He has five years of experience in sales, having built up his skills working for car dealerships and a garden pod retailer across Nottinghamshire.
The father and son duo are part of a larger team of tradespeople with specialist skills in building, sourcing, and co-ordinating with other trades and sub-contractors.
D G Joinery offers a full range of building services including new build, extensions, renovations, kitchens and bathrooms, and a certified installers of Velux windows.
They carry out projects in Newark, Southwell, Bingham, Nottingham, Lincoln, Grantham, and surrounding villages.
