Three men, aged 25, 26 and 30 arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving yesterday at Thorpe-on-the-Hill (Wednesday) have been released under investigation.
Police attended a collision on Fosse Lane, Thorpe-on-the-Hill at around 9.50am on Wednesday.
The bridge running over the A46 was closed in both directions at Thorpe-on-the-Hill.
The driver of one of the vehicles left the scene and police were searching for him.
Two occupants of one of the vehicles involved, a Ford Fiesta, a man and woman in their fifties, were taken to hospital.
Lincolnshire Police said their injuries were not as serious as originally feared.
Inquiries continue and part of that investigation is to establish who the driver was of a black Mercedes Benz.
