New coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Newark and Sherwood, according to the latest figures released by Public Health England.

Ashfield 25,948 (up 388) Bassetlaw 23,105 (up 628) Broxtowe 22,418 (up 578) Gedling 25,175 (up 667) Mansfield 22,677 (up 588) Newark and Sherwood 23,361 (up 579) Rushcliffe 24,681 (up 634) Nottingham city 71,658 (up 1,600) Nottinghamshire 167,365(up 4,440).

In the last seven days there have been 1,427 positive cases recorded in Newark and Sherwood.

In the latest 24-hour period, there have been no new deaths reported in Newark and Sherwood within 28 days of the person testing positive for the virus, leaving the total at 246.

According to the latest public data, 12,748,050 (up 189,213) patients in the UK have tested positive and 148,421 (up 332) people have died within 28 days of positive test.
