Use questioned
I haven’t followed the story closely, but I have the distinct impression that MF Strawson has no intention of doing anything with the Robin Hood site, whatever legal claim might be raised in November 2015.
The company certainly does- n’t seem interested in commenting on the subject.
On the other hand, I wish I understood why these buildings are considered to be of any significance, and would be very interested to know who is to fund the proposed feasibility study.
I certainly trust this does not involve rate-payers’ money.
As to any future use of the buildings, if they should be restored it occurs to me that they would surely attract very little interest for retail use, given the apparent limited pedestrian use along the relatively narrow footpath — surely even lower than the footfall around the retail units created with the Asda store.
Does anyone have any ideas?
